Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Contract Research Associate II with expertise in formulation to join ORIC's formulation and drug delivery team. The successful candidate will support ORIC's early and late-stage drug product development activities including preclinical formulation, pre-formulation and drug product analytical testing to support solid oral dose development. This person is hands-on in the laboratory and will be responsible for data collection and analysis and will present their work regularly at team meetings. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, highly organized, focused and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:

Collaborate with Research to identify and prepare preclinical formulations. Perform supportive stability studies and develop instructions to enable reproducible formulation preparation.

Design and execution of pre-formulation studies to determine the chemical and physical properties of our small molecule drug candidates.

Analytical support for our drug products which include in-process testing of powder blends and final product testing of tablets.

Qualifications1-2 years of hands-on experience working in a laboratory with analytical instrumentation, preferably with previous experience in pre-formulation and formulation development.

Experience with HPLC in the development of analytical methods for the analysis and characterization of small molecule samples is a plus.

Good oral and written communications skills.

Enjoy working with others in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Self-motivated and organized, enjoy scientific investigation and thinks proactively to identify issues and develop solutions.

Additional InformationThe anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in our South San Francisco location is between $35-$45 per hour.
