The Research Assistant, under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator and the general supervision of the Principal Investigator or APT Director of Research, acts as the participant recruiter and evaluator for research studies with individuals with MOUD (medications for Opioid Use Disorder). The hired individual will interact with participants, schedule appointments, and conduct assessments. This individual will implement, track research study procedures, and troubleshoot when necessary. This position may require community outreach, random assignment, co-facilitating group assessments/interventions, locating participants, reviewing clinical records for research information.Primary Focus:
To provide general program support that will facilitate and expedite the smooth and efficient enrollment of program participants into a PrEP research study.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Compilation of all required forms into client charts, to include both clinical skills chart and medical chart. Download, print, and insert all Qualtrics assessments into program charts, to include( PrEP pre-questions, pre-interviews, weekly check-ins, and all follow-up interviews). Set up weekly scheduled text reminder messages for newly enrolled participants Entering weekly quiz scores (as needed). Providing weekly reminders to program participants about group and notifying participated when they have been discontinued from the study. Preloading participant charts with all forms required for participation in the PrEP study, including but not limited to: screeners, contact sheet, ROI's and attendance sheets. Maintaining updates to the Master Key for all newly enrolled study participants. Updating MoCA SPSS file following pre-interview and follow-up interviews. Assist other HRU staff members as needed for study success.Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in psychology, science, or related human service field. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft suite) Knowledge of data management and analysis software.Bilingual Spanish Preferred Job Location:
