Job Description

Job Overview South Tampa Cardiology is seeking a detail-oriented Research Data Assistant to support our cardiovascular imaging research team. This position is responsible for collecting, organizing, and entering data into research databases while ensuring accuracy and completeness of records. Applicants must be current medical students, nursing students, or graduates of an accredited medical school (MD or DO) or nursing program. Roles & Responsibilities Enter patient and imaging data into research databases and tracking systems Review records for accuracy and completeness Upload, organize, and maintain electronic documents and reports Track study-related information using spreadsheets and internal systems Assist with collecting records and supporting research data requests Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines Communicate with team members regarding missing or incomplete information Perform general administrative and data-entry tasks as assigned This role offers: Direct engagement in high-impact cardiovascular imaging research Access to a robust, longitudinal CCTA database
