Job Description

Overview:
We are an independent investment consulting firm providing advisory services to high net worth clients, family offices and non-profit entities. The Consultant will be part of a small, collegial team reporting directly to the Managing Principal.
Responsibilities:
Assist with evaluation of existing and potential new investments Monitor existing investment values, returns, exposures, liquidity, cash flows, holdings, profiles, and related data Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis on investments, including managers and funds Assist with monthly and quarterly valuations, returns, reporting and other projects Perform ongoing research of investment trends, opportunities and markets Attend periodic meetings of existing managers and prepare written summaries Develop investment policy statements and perform manager search - optimization Ability to work independently, take initiative, understand priorities and deliver quality work all with a positive attitude Perform numerous projects simultaneously and be able to work both independently and as part of a team Solid written and oral communication skills Maturity and integrity to work with confidential/sensitive information Local Chicago candidates only
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Proven project management and organizational skills - ability to handle multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel. Knowledge of Alternative Investments, particularly Hedge Funds and Private Markets. Experience embedding Artificial Intelligence into workflows is a plus. Working knowledge of Black Diamond and/or Morningstar Direct is a plus. Track record of success with a minimum of four (4) years of financial services experience preferably in investment management/consulting or related sector (e.g. private banking, family office, wealth management) CFA designation or Master s degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration and knowledge of taxation is strongly preferred.
