Description:
Qualifications Education and Experience:
BS/BA degree with at least three years of experience in industry or academia.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with quantitative image analysis tools, such as ImageJ, Indica Labs
HALO, HALO
AI, or Python.
- Proven experience in image acquisition, strong microscopy skills, and a solid working knowledge of mouse and human neuroanatomy.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with mouse handling and necropsy procedures, including blood and tissue collection.
- Ability to support in vivo study execution, laboratory organization, and sample management.
- Ability to independently analyze data, including the application of practical statistical methods.
- Ability to effectively present data in small-group meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- General knowledge of immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization methods.
- Experience with automated immunostainers, such as Ventana platforms.
- Expertise in applying histological markers associated with Alzheimer's disease pathology; including amyloid plaques, tauopathy, gliosis, and neuroimmune function.
- Experience with whole-body perfusion and brain microdissection.
