Job Description

Now Hiring - Research Assistants Pay Range is $21.75/hour - $27.20/hour Multiple positions available Are you a researcher who is excited to be part of an active, in-person team working on research projects that study effective ways of caring for older adults in health services and systems. Are you committed to improving the lives and health of older adults? In this role at Brandeis University, you will be a key team member working on all modes of communication. Communication skills are important in all aspects of the work and include effective outreach to patients, families, clinical teams, system leaders and the public through email, telephone, postal mail, social and public media, team meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists in all efforts related to research team communications: Schedules and manages in-person, online, and hybrid team meetings, assures clear and professional materials before and after internal and external meetings, including agendas, PowerPoints, notes, reports. Tracks schedules and related deadlines. Organizes, coordinates various research interviews, workshops, conferences, staff meetings including corresponding with event participants and speakers and compiling attendance lists. Coordinates with other study team partners. Assists with programming surveys in Qualtrics and other survey software; learns to administer surveys under supervision and assist with research participant communications and scheduling. Handles team press releases, online releases in website, social media accounts, email communications and oversees design, creation and distribution of research posters, event signs, flyers). Attends administrative meetings and trainings and communicates relevant information to the team. Tracks Brandeis calendar and team schedules to help coordinate events and meetings.
Skills & Qualifications:
1-3 years related experience, required BA/BS highly preferred Meeting planning and management experience strongly preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required. Familiarity with Workday a plus. Must have basic math skills for accounting purposes. Experience with webpage upkeep, use of social media, Qualtrics, Word/Adobe/Canva Pay Range Disclosure The University's pay ranges represent a good faith estimate of what Brandeis reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of posting.
