Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Research Scientist to join our innovative team dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge through rigorous research and cutting-edge analysis. In this role, you will lead experimental design, data collection, and analysis efforts across various biomedical and computational research projects. Your expertise will contribute to impactful scientific discoveries, peer-reviewed publications, and the development of novel methodologies. Responsibilities Design and execute laboratory experiments involving biochemical, cellular, and molecular biology techniques such as Western blotting, tissue culture, microscopy, and assays. Conduct in vivo studies and clinical research to explore biological mechanisms and therapeutic targets. Apply computational methods including bioinformatics data analysis, machine learning/AI-based analysis, and statistical software to interpret complex datasets. Lead research projects by developing experimental protocols, managing data collection processes, and ensuring adherence to quality standards such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practice). Analyze research data using statistical analysis tools like R, Python, MATLAB, or specialized bioinformatics software; interpret results to inform scientific conclusions. Prepare scientific manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at scientific and medical conferences. Secure research funding through grant writing efforts while maintaining compliance with institutional guidelines and ethical standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline. 2+ years of relevant laboratory or research experience preferred. Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, or life sciences environments preferred. Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation and analytical techniques. Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate technical documentation.
