$55,000 / year Description Are you looking for the next step in your consumer research career? Do you want to work with one of the world's leading CPG companies? We are looking for a Field Technician based at one of our client's sites in New Jersey! You will support the operational and technical aspects of consumer research studies, ensuring smooth execution and compliance with protocols. Key Responsibilities 🔬 Set up the facility and technology for studies. 📦 Prepare, label, blind, store, and track products following chain‑of‑custody, temperature control, and serving order protocols. ✅ Assist with participant check‑in/out, consent verification, and manage participant flow to ensure smooth study execution. 🫧 Maintain lab cleanliness, sanitation, equipment calibration, and inventory of supplies and testing materials. 👩‍💻 Support data collection by ensuring devices, software, and timing systems are functioning and properly configured. 📝 Complete required documentation, including prep logs, cleaning logs, deviations, temperature logs, and equipment maintenance records. 👥 Provide onsite client/observer support, including livestream setup, recording management, and backroom AV assistance. 📋 Manage product return/disposal procedures, report adverse events, and ensure adherence to facility safety and compliance protocols. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience in lab or field operations, preferably in a research or testing environment. Technical aptitude for equipment setup and troubleshooting. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Degree in related field preferred (Consumer Science, Food Science, Sensory Science, Psychology). A bit about us and our benefits!
