Job Description

A Long Island health services network is seeking a new Board-Certified Trauma Surgeon and SICU Director for a position at a renowned trauma center in Suffolk County. 
Responsibilities:
Providing high-quality, evidence-based trauma care Establishing care programs for geriatric patients Developing a Critical Care Fellowship Program Coordinating care with subspecialists Managing all aspects of trauma care Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
Board Eligible/Certified in General Surgery Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma Surgery ATLS Certified Experience in trauma and critical care management Dynamic leadership capabilities Strong communication skills Commitment to a collegial and patient-focused environment
Desired Qualifications:
Advanced Degree Additional certifications in Trauma Care Experience in a Trauma Center setting
