Job Description

The student office assistant will assist and support the Sr. Administrative Assistant and other personnel within the Division of Research with various duties and daily office responsibilities

Build positive working relationships across campus departments. Greet and assist visitors including Faculty and Staff Perform general office duties such as copying and scanning documents Answer phones, take accurate messages, and direct where appropriate Perform other duties as assigned Strong communication and customer service skills Professional demeanor with a positive attitude Ability to work as a team. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Responsible, dependable, and punctual. Good organizational skills with attention to detail. Minimum GPA 2.5 - First semester students without an established University GPA can be hired on a probationary status, pending their first GPA. Must be available to work in the afternoon.
