Research Assistant Intern

Core4ce is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Research Assistant to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of single crystal fiber growth. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced materials processing techniques and contribute to the development of next-generation materials.

Responsibilities :

Assist in the operation and maintenance of the Laser Heated Pedestal Growth system. Aid in data acquisition and analysis. Perform characterization of grown fibers using techniques such as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Raman Spectroscopy. Contribute to the design, assembly, and testing of custom fiber testing equipment. Conduct literature reviews and assist in the preparation of research reports and presentations. • This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.

Requirements:

Basic computer skills, including data processing and analysis. Exceptional teamwork and communication skills. Ability to be self-motivated, work independently, and seamlessly engage in proficient collaborative teamwork dynamics. Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a degree granting institution. Interest or experience in mechanical design or instrumentation is a plus. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Why Work for Us?
