Job Description

Job Summary:
The Research Associate position requires an experienced researcher (academic/industry) relevant to the job description. The Research Associate will handle several product lines in molecular biology, biochemistry, and protein purification.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the product portfolio of several main company brands
  • Product development with existing products and research on new products
  • Order fulfillment and packaging/labelling of products.
  • Enforcing Quality Assurance techniques as outlined by the Quality Management System (QMC)
  • Will maintain all technical documentation, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS's), Certificates of Analysis (COA's), Product Info/Data Sheets (PIS/PDS's), Composition Analysis, as well as any other documentation required for the products
  • Perform various laboratory tasks in a biochemistry lab.
  • Reports directly to the Laboratory Director and as well as to assigned Product Managers when applicable.
Requirements:
  • Proven scientific knowledge
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize deadlines and various tasks associated with a project.
  • Problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
