Please provide your CV, letter of specific research interests, and contact information for 3 references by email to Rashmi.kaul10@okstate.edu About this Position Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Research Scientist to study role of estrogen receptor regulation of innate immunity in the urinary tract infection (UTI) pathogenesis. The successful candidate will utilize molecular and immunological approaches to understand the significance of membrane and nuclear estrogen receptor signaling in regulation of inflammation in the bladder and kidney during initiation of UTI. Applicant should hold a MS with at least two year research experience /Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences. The candidates must be able to design and perform experiments independently with appropriate but minimal supervision. Prior experience in flow cytometry including sorting and data analysis, cell culture, bioinformatics and confocal microscopy would be a distinct advantage. The candidate will be expected to perform research, data analysis, write, Lab research protocols (SOP), write manuscripts, and present findings at the local and national meetings. The candidate will be expected to closely work with students in the lab.
