Provide analytical support for the firm's portfolio managers by highlighting risks. Specialize in a number of industries and cover all levels of the debt capital structure - investment grade bonds, high yield ("junk") bonds, bank debt and convertibles. Work along-side our seasoned credit analysts, supporting them in their coverage responsibilities, while learning about the various industries and day-to-day responsibilities.

• Requires a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field and 3 years of experience performing credit research.
• Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: o Developing financial modeling and statistical modeling o Performing quantitative data analysis and credit analysis o Performing research on risk management and valuation o Performing credit or trading technical analysis
• In lieu of a bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 3 years of experience as stated, employer will accept a master's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and education, training, or experience in the skillset listed.
• Position reports to Newport Beach, CA office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
• Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
