Job Description
The Department of Anesthesiology in the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Training Program Administrator for Anesthesiology Fellowships & ANE Medical Clerkship Coordinator. This is a University at Buffalo-affiliated position employed by University at Buffalo Anesthesiology, Inc., a New York not-for-profit university faculty practice corporation. This is not a New York State or University at Buffalo employment position. This position provides comprehensive administrative and programmatic support for the department's fellowship training programs and medical student education activities, working closely with Fellowship Program Directors, the Clerkship Director, faculty, fellows, medical students, and institutional partners. Serious Candidates may apply directly at: https://www.ubjobs.buffalo.edu/postings/64134 In this position, you will: Coordinate the day-to-day administration of anesthesiology fellowship programs and medical clerkship activities, ensuring compliance with departmental, GME, ACGME, ABA, and University requirements. Manage fellowship recruitment and onboarding activities, including applications, candidate communications, interview coordination, selection processes, orientations, and related documentation. Develop and maintain fellowship rotation schedules, program records, evaluations, duty-hour and compliance reporting, and required data within MedHub and other institutional systems. Coordinate educational and program activities, including lectures, Journal Clubs, meetings, workshops, conferences, graduations, and other fellowship and medical student events. Support Fellowship Program Directors and the Clerkship Director with program administration, accreditation requirements, meeting preparation and minutes, testing, evaluations, and ongoing program initiatives. Coordinate fellowship and medical student recruitment and engagement efforts, including promotional activities, fellowship advertising, and administrative support of the Anesthesiology Interest Group. Maintain accurate and confidential electronic and program records and respond to verification, recommendation, and other program-related requests. Collaborate with faculty, trainees, medical students, and University partners to support the continued growth and success of the department's graduate and undergraduate medical education programs. Pay:
