This is a full-time, non-exempt position with functions that will include the following: Job duties include: Review and update website information regarding relevant dates, legislative sessions, and elections Verify and update contact information, link functionality, and documents Track updates to legislative bills, rules, guides, and opinions Assist in the editing of monthly notifications to clients Edit website entries for grammar and company preferences Create monthly tracking spreadsheets for department as needed Communicate all updates to managers and director Assist in special projects and general administrative duties as directed Other Related Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all confidential proprietary information is secure
  • Represent the company in a professional manner in all situations
  • Participate in conferences and professional development opportunities as requested
  • Complete timesheets and necessary documents in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain system to record assignments and projects to ensure deadlines are met
  • Think proactively and provide suggestions for improvements and solutions
  • Adhere to assigned schedule and all other policies in the Employee Handbook Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Individual MUST be exceptionally detailed and able to produce highly accurate work
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and working with databases
  • General knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and HTML
  • Copy editing and proofreading experience
  • Ability to proofread and edit using company guide and AP Stylebook
  • Exceptional organization skills and the ability to self-manage priorities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • College degree or comparable work experience
