Go back Aneurin Bevan University Health Board Research Support Worker The closing date is 16 September 2026 Apply for this job Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Support Worker, to support the Research Delivery Team within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. The role will mainly be based in our new Clinical Research Centre in the Royal Gwent Hospital, but travel may be required across our other sites in Nevill Hall Hospital and The Grange Hospital. The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality administrative, data management and coordination support, to ensure the smooth running of a range of clinical trials and other research projects. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and be adaptable to meet the changing needs of the service. Annualised hours- 7.5 hours per month This is a fixed term post for 2 years to cover the needs of the service. Main duties of the job Assist research team in administrative duties for research project start up, initiation, maintenance and study closure. Arrange patient clinic appointments with research team and study participants as required. Assist the research team in the preparation and conduct of clinic visits for patients enrolled in research Arrange couriers for safe and timely transport of clinical samples as required Arrange monitoring visits for external monitors and assist in the preparation and follow up of these visits. This includes coordinating diaries, requesting notes, booking venues, communicating action plans.
