Job Description

Position Summary The Research Assistant supports the planning, implementation, and management of research projects by coordinating study activities, collecting and maintaining data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting investigators with study-related tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Research Operations Assist with the execution of clinical and/or non-clinical research studies. Recruit, screen, and enroll study participants according to approved protocols. Assist in scheduling participant visits and coordinate study-related procedures. Obtain informed consent and maintain participant confidentiality. Support investigators and research staff in study implementation, reporting and completion. Data Collection and Management Collect, enter, and maintain research data in electronic databases and case report forms. Review data for accuracy, completeness, and protocol compliance. Assist with data analysis, literature reviews, and preparation of study reports. Maintain organized and secure study records and documentation. Regulatory Compliance Ensure adherence to institutional policies, federal regulations, and study protocols. Prepare and maintain regulatory information and essential study documents. Support monitoring visits, audits, and inspections as needed. Administrative Support Coordinate meetings and communications with investigators, sponsors, and study participants. Track study milestones, deadlines, and project deliverables. Assist with manuscript preparation, presentations, and publication submissions. Perform other research-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a scientific, healthcare, public health, psychology, biology, or related field preferred. Previous research experience in clinical, academic, or healthcare settings preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
