Position Details Position Information Position Title Graduate Student Worker for Institutional Research Academic Year 2026-2027 UIW Mission University of the Incarnate Word is a Catholic institution that welcomes to its community persons of diverse backgrounds, in the belief that their respectful interaction advances the discovery of truth, mutual understanding, self-realization, and the common good. Position Summary The IR Graduate Student Worker will support the staff of the Office of Institutional Research with the completion of various projects which may include general surveys, the Institutional Profile Book, the maintenance of the electronic records, and other special data analysis projects. Essential Functions This Graduate Student Worker will support the Institutional Research staff by: Preparing survey results for analysis Providing data support for various projects submitted to IR Maintaining appropriate communications between UIW personnel and the Institutional Research director and staff, as appropriate. Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, etc. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Be able to work as part of a collaborative team Demonstrated experience working in an office setting Demonstrated experience working with data sets, data quality, and data visualizations Be detail-oriented, self-directed, and willing to learn Knowledge of data collection and data integrity Knowledgable with statistical methods, research, and analysis techniques Knowledge with business intelligence software, such as Power BI or Tableau Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA . Required Education Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a graduate-level program at the University of the Incarnate Word.
