Duties and Responsibilities Work on a research grant on estimated time of arrivals (ETA) of buses in Hong Kong Perform Multi-sourced data fusion, spatiotemporal analysis, manpower and project timeline management, and maintain effective communications with team leaders and public transit operators Must be able to use different programming languages to conduct big data analytics Must be efficient, responsible, patient, and meticulous in the delivery of tasks Requirements For Post-doctoral Fellow /
Senior Research Assistant:
A Ph.D. degree in transport, computer science, or related disciplines (applicants very near graduation will also be considered). For the Senior Research Assistant post, applicants may alternatively possess a Master's degree in a related discipline accompanied by at least three years of project management experience. Experience working with multiple teams outside of university settings will be an advantage Familiar with different programming languages (e.g. Python) and preferably Geographic Information Systems (GIS) What We Offer The appointment will be expected to be from 1 st September 2026 to 31 st August 2027 (12 months), with a probationary period of 3 months.
