Senior Research Staff & Post-doctoral Fellow, Research Staff Senior Research Assistant (holding the functional title of Statistical Officer) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 536324) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance) Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree, a Master's degree with at least 1 year of experience or a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in statistics or a related discipline. Experience in statistical analysis and proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python) are preferred. Knowledge of clinical trials and/or biomedical research would be an advantage. Applicants should be reliable, honest, committed, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility, and able to work independently as well as in a team. The appointee will assist in clinical trials and other research projects. Patient contact may be necessary as part of the duties. He/she will conduct statistical analysis, power/sample size estimation, prepare publications, contribute to grant proposals and reports, and perform other duties as assigned. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
