Position Details Position Details Advertising/Posting Title Lab Research Technician Posting Summary Responsibilities include activities that support the implementation and evaluation of community-based quality improvement projects in local preschool classrooms. This position involves working closely with preschool teachers and college students engaged in the project. Specific duties may include implementing program activities in participating classrooms; completing assessments at project sites; facilitating communication between the research team and teachers; supervising and providing feedback to college students in both classroom and lab settings; supporting data management and analysis; coordinating day-to-day lab operations; supporting recruitment and training of college students; and performing administrative duties (e.g., assisting with IRB protocols and budget tracking). Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support the overall goals of the project and program evaluation. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Bachelor's degree in psychological science or a health/science-related field Documented experience working with preschool-aged children Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Canva, and SPSS Statistics software Access to a vehicle for travel to community partner sites (standard IRS mileage reimbursement rates apply) Desirable Qualifications Demonstrated experience supervising and mentoring, including providing thoughtful, actionable feedback Anticipated Pay Range $21.58-$23.08/hr - based on prior experience Other Information Work will take place primarily in the lab. Additional work will take place in local community classrooms where we run our programs. Work on evenings or weekends will occasionally be necessary based on program needs Grant-funded mileage reimbursement is available if personal vehicle is used.
