Summary/Objective:
The Senior Coordinator provides administrative support to the Legal Department, including department operations, records management, award-related processes, and general departmental administration. Essential Functions of the
Job:
Process department payment requisitions, expense reports, and maintain budget records. Maintain records related to awards statuettes. Coordinate awards statuette nameplate operation. Coordinate statuette repairs and replacements in accordance with Academy policy. Assist with trademark document matters obtaining notarization and legalization of documents. Assist the Senior Manager of Legal and Business Affairs as needed. Assist the Legal Department attorneys as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Required Competencies:
A high school diploma or equivalent certificate of completion. At least 2 years' work experience providing administrative support. Must be willing to become a Notary Public. Experience with record-keeping databases and document management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) at a beginner to intermediate level. Must be detail-oriented and able to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility, with the capacity to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, follow instructions, and work independently. Outstanding communications a must, including fluency in English and highly professional verbal and written communication with special attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work professionally and gracefully with Academy members and the public.
Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience with art preservation and repairs is preferred.
