Qualifications Qualifications:

A degree in an appropriate field of anthropology. You must submit transcripts.- OR•B.
Combination of education and experience:
courses equivalent to a major, or a combination of courses totaling at least 24 semester hours in an appropriate field of anthropology, or related course work, plus appropriate experience or additional education. You must include transcripts and your resume must reflect number of hours worked per week.- OR•C.
Experience :
Four years of appropriate experience in anthropology performing research, museum work, or similar professional-level work. You must include number of hours worked per week in your resume.- AND•To qualify for this position at the GS-12 grade level:
Specialized Experience Requirement:
you must possess at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). This experience includes activities such as: preparing reports that are used for decisions on management of cultural resources and activities on public lands; consulting with groups with traditional associations to public lands on management decisions; and leading National Historic Preservation Act Section 106 compliance activities for park projects. You must include hours per week worked.Volunteer Experience:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
