Job Description

The Project Management and Development Branch (PMDB) provides architectural and engineering services; space planning and interior design; construction and construction inspection services; energy and environmental services, and other competencies such as seismic retrofits, asbestos abatement, and underground tank removal. PMDB additionally provides project management services for complex real estate projects. PMDB manages the design and construction process on behalf of state agencies and departments. PMDB assists state agencies and departments in developing conceptual documents for cost and budget control, programming, site planning and master planning, and other documents for conceptualizing capital outlay projects that are necessary to obtain legislative authorization and funding projects.

Project Management and Development Branch . The Department of General Services (DGS) Real Estate Services Division, Project Management and Development Branch is seeking to hire a student assistant to assist with the preparation of organizing and labeling construction and environmental project files and drawings for archival retention, identifying and destroying duplicate documents, and performing bulk printing and scanning of reports, drawings, and other project-related materials. The student assistant will also assist with revamping portions of the electronic file system, relocating electronic files between network drives, and performing general administrative duties such as complying report, document preparation, and various electronic filings. Conditions of Employment This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited, student position. Employment in all positions with University Enterprises, Inc. is dependent upon the mutual consent of University Enterprises, Inc. and the employee. This means that either University Enterprises, Inc. or the employee can, at any time, terminate the employment relationship at will, with or without cause. 50 per hour Minimum Qualifications Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Punctual, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining a professional demeanor in an office setting. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
