In this role, you will assist Social and Behavioral Scientists and Principal Investigators in leading multi-faceted research projects focused on social, behavioral, psychological, and public health issues. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful research efforts that shape positive societal change through rigorous analysis and innovative methodologies. Duties Assist Lead Scientists in the design and execution of research studies utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods to explore social phenomena and public health challenges. Collect, manage, and analyze complex datasets using statistical software such as R, Stata, SPSS, SAS, or Python to uncover meaningful patterns and trends. Conduct data collection activities including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and field observations to gather comprehensive information. Provide supportive administrative and operational support to Ph.D.-level behavioral scientists Assist with protocol development, survey management, and IRB submissions Stay current with emerging research and methodologies in the behavioral sciences, clinical research, and FDA CTP regulatory decisions Support clinical research initiatives and clinical trials by coordinating data collection processes and ensuring compliance with protocols. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and publications that communicate research findings clearly to diverse audiences including policymakers, stakeholders, and academic communities. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Epidemiology, or related fields; advanced degrees preferred. Comprehensive understanding the entire research lifecyle, from conceptualizing research questions and identifying the most appropriate research design, to interpreting results of statistical analysis. Preferred experience with statistical software such as R, Stata, SPSS, SAS or Python for data analysis. Demonstrated ability in quantitative research methods along with qualitative research techniques for comprehensive insights. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex findings effectively. Passion for public health initiatives and social science research that drives positive societal impact.
