Job Description
About the Opportunity Well respected, growth-minded agronomy organization that is expanding their footprint across Iowa. They are looking for an Agronomist to build relationships with growers, provide trusted agronomic guidance, and drive territory growth. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to get into the field, understands producers, and wants to be part of a company that actually supports their people. Key Responsibilities Train to manage and grow a territory of producers through relationship-based agronomy sales Provide recommendations on seed, crop protection, fertilizer, and precision solutions Scout fields, interpret soil/plant data, and deliver actionable agronomic plans Maintain strong communication with growers throughout the season Partner with internal agronomy and operations Forecast territory needs, plan sales strategies, and hit growth targets Attend grower meetings, field days, and regional ag events Custom Application Ideal Candidate Profile Farm/ag background required Degree in Agronomy, Ag Business or other related degree required Understanding of regional crops (corn, soybeans) Relationship-driven with a strong work ethic and producer-first mentality Valid driver's license and ability to travel within territory Have or ability to obtain Class A CDL and IA Custom Applicators License , company will cover costs.
