You work with the RDQ team to conduct experiments and trials under the guidance of more senior team members. How you will contribute You will run pilot plant and/or laboratory operations, prepare and maintain the equipment and ingredients needed, capture and report data with technical rigor and accuracy, and ensure the safe working and operation of equipment and environment. What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge: Working in teams and independently with the guidance of more senior team members Proactively identifying problems and assisting in creating and implementing solutions Applying your technical understanding of equipment and ingredients to support pilot plant and/or laboratory operations Recording and reporting data and activity outcomes accurately Lab/plant equipment operation/maintenance experience a distinct advantage Food manufacturing industry experience a distinct advantage More about this role What you need to know about this position: Support the NA Biscuit team's bench development and storage lab operations by delivering initiatives that drive brand value through increased revenue and product quality in a safe, functional, and secure environment. Instruct junior developers and temporary personnel in proper lab protocols, task duties, and requirements. Independently manage the shipment and receipt of samples and test materials, both domestic and international. Assist developers with sample submissions in ODS. Assemble and initiate shelf-life storage studies and conduct product pulls on schedule. Aid product developers with benchtop sample preparation and formulation trials. Operate various lab equipment to quantify product attributes and report findings to product developers. Enter test data into Excel or other database systems with accuracy and consistency. Order supplies and raw materials for benchtop experiments, maintaining adequate inventory levels. Maintain a secure work environment by enforcing general housekeeping rules, keeping the lab clean, and conducting walkthroughs with key facility staff to ensure compliance with best practices. Assist with manufacturing and pilot plant trials as required. Education /
Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a lab environment preferred.Job specific requirements:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, Excel, data entry systems). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and move packages as needed. Willingness to learn and adapt to new digital systems and tools.Travel requirements:

The base salary range for this position is $51,100 to $70,300; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
