As a Soil Sampler you will travel across your assigned region and use GPS equipment and specialized company-provided vehicles to collect soil samples from our customer's fields, to be analyzed by a Corvian laboratory. What you'll be doing: Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from grower's fields Ensure quality control and accurate recording of sample data Regularly communicate with leadership to discuss field conditions Sampling database administration and maintenance Safe operation of motorized vehicles and specialized sampling equipment What you'll need to be successful: Valid driver's license• for designated province/state of employment; Some agricultural experience would be an asset; Ability to carry up to 40lbs; Ability to travel, often to rural areas Availability to work a combination of days, evenings and/or weekends The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of, and maintain an acceptable driving record, consistent with our Vehicle Use Policies, to be eligible for employment with Corvian.
