Plant Shop Assistant

Blooming House Botanicals is looking for a reliable and hardworking part-time assistant to help with day-to-day plant shop operations. This is a hands-on role with a variety of tasks depending on the day. We're a growing tropical plant business, so no two days are exactly the same.

Tasks may include:

Watering and caring for tropical plants Packing plant and soil orders Labeling and organizing inventory Processing plant imports Cleaning and prepping plants Assisting with greenhouse/shop organization Updating inventory or product listings Helping create social media posts or content We're looking for someone who: Is dependable and punctual Is comfortable with physical work and being on their feet Can lift 25-40 lbs occasionally Pays attention to detail Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn Loves plants or is interested in learning more about them Preferred but not required: Plant knowledge Social media experience (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) Shopify or inventory experience Photography/content creation skills This position is ideal for a student, plant enthusiast, or someone looking for flexible part-time work in a creative environment.

Please note:

This position is based out of a small home-based plant business in Irving, TX. Work may take place in indoor growing areas, storage/work spaces, and outdoor areas depending on daily tasks.
