to acquire this position.
  • The majority of this job is wildlife trapping and performing exclusion.

If you're responsible, you'll make good money as a W-2 employee without a manager breathing down your neck. If we can't trust you, you'll be gone quickly. Role Description This role is for a full time Wildlife Control Operator. Class A Wildlife Control permit through IDNR is required. The vast majority of the day to day work is exclusion, which is structural work on the exterior of a customer's house. The majority of all work takes place 20' off the ground or higher. You will need to be able to handle ladders, up to and including a 40' ladder. The next most frequent work performed will be wildlife trapping services.
To Recap:
This position will require, but is not limited to: animal trapping, structural exclusion, and a HIGH percentage of work at heights. If you are not comfortable on a ladder or a roof, this isn't the role for you. Qualifications Experience in Wildlife, Trapping, and Wildlife Management is required Experience with work at heights, roof safety, and ladder work Former handyman, HVAC tech, roofer, or other trades or current WCO Strong Communication skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team A valid driver's license and clean driving record Previous experience in a related field is a plus Pass a drug test
