We are committed to ensuring all students have access to high-quality, personalized, proficiency-based learning that supports both academic growth and the development of transferable skills such as critical thinking, executive functioning, and social-emotional learning. Our goal is to prepare every student for meaningful engagement in college, career, and community. We are seeking a science educator to join our collaborative and supportive science department teaching in our high school. Support students in developing foundational scientific thinking and inquiry skills Emphasize cross-cutting concepts and transferable skills Courses assigned based on student need and candidate expertise. Opportunity to teach a range of college- and career-ready science courses. What You'll Do Design and implement NGSS-aligned, proficiency-based instruction. Engage students in inquiry-based science learning. Use a variety of assessment strategies to support student growth and mastery. Build strong, positive relationships with students. Collaborate with colleagues through team planning and shared curriculum development Support students' development of transferable skills. What We're Looking For A passionate science educator with strong content knowledge. Experience (or interest) in NGSS, inquiry-based, or phenomena-based instruction.
