We serve over 2100 students in grades 6 through 12. Science Teacher:

This is a ten month full-time faculty position. 1. Teach (6) sections of middle school science. 2. Insure that all courses taught meet the State Standards and benchmarks as required. 3. Regular teacher duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

1. Must like children and teachers and enjoy working with those groups. 2. Minimum Bachelors degree; Masters degree or higher preferred. 3. Training/certifications in Science/education. 4. Training/degree in one or more arts areas is helpful. 5. Excellent writing and speaking skills preferred. 6. Patience, compassion, understanding and tolerance are required. Moral, intellectual and professional strength are required to help make tough decisions. 7. Training and experience in multiple intelligence learning strategies is helpful. 8. A great team player and a good sense of humor.
