Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for individuals skilled in perioperative care, with a focus on operating room support as well as experience as a Surgical Technologist—both certified and non-certified. This contract role seeks motivated healthcare professionals ready to deliver high-quality support within a dynamic surgical environment.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting surgeons and surgical staff in operating room preparation, procedures, and clean-up Ensuring maintenance and proper sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment Managing surgical supplies before, during, and after procedures Supporting patient positioning, prepping, and draping in accordance with facility safety protocols Demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration with the surgical and nursing teams Contributing to continuous quality improvement and adherence to infection control standards Preferred qualifications and experience: Experience as a Surgical Tech, either certified or non-certified, or background as an ORT (Operating Room Technician) Knowledge of current aseptic techniques and surgical procedures Strong attention to detail and ability to respond quickly to changing situations Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting Current BLS certification preferred Previous experience in an operating room or surgical services setting desired Enjoy the opportunity to broaden your clinical experience and contribute meaningfully to positive surgical outcomes.
