Videos Duties Help Represents the Forest Supervisor in any transaction affecting the Forest, either in-Service or out, with the same degree of authority to commit the Forest, but subject to post review by superior. Exercises final commitment authority to make administrive and technical decisions on all Nional Forest mters during absence of superior where authority is delegable. Provides leadership, alloces resources, and implements activities to accomplish Forest Service multicultural organizion direction and Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights requirements, goals, policies, and objectives. s responsibility with the Forest Supervisor for providing technical and administrive leadership in and direction to all activities on the Forest. Specialized Experience Requirement:
For the GS-14 : You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Qualifying specialized experience is defined as meeting one or more of the following: Provided counsel to higher organizional levels concerning district, forest or equivalent nural resource program issues and their current and anticiped effects; and/or Exercised direct program responsibilities th included district, forest or equivalent program development, planning, budgeting, and identifying workforce and organizional needs to establish and meet priorities; and/or Developed and sustained relionships with one or more of the following: external partners, members of the public, representives of agencies or tribal governments, to anticipe and resolve nural resource management conflicts and issues. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through Nional Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizions (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience th transles directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Work Experience :

TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT
If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
