The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a strong background in garment construction and alterations. As a Tailor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality, perfectly fitted garments that meet their style preferences. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with various fabrics and sewing techniques. Duties Perform alterations and repairs on garments, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to complete tasks efficiently. Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences regarding fit and style. Measure clients accurately to ensure proper fitting of garments. Maintain an organized workspace and keep sewing equipment in good working condition. Assist in garment construction as needed, including cutting fabric and assembling pieces. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in fashion retail or tailoring is preferred. Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and fabric types. Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand-sewing tools. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to alterations. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
