Seasonal Front of house Manager

Severance Lodge Club is seeking a polished, professional, and hospitality-driven Front of House Manager & Host to lead the guest experience in our upscale, fine dining environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on attention to detail, anticipates guest needs, and sets the tone for exceptional service from the moment guests arrive—while also bringing bartending knowledge and experience to support our bar program as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a warm, refined first impression by greeting and seating guests with professionalism and poise
• Manage reservations, private dining bookings, and waitlists with precision
• Oversee front-of-house operations to ensure seamless, elevated service
• Lead, train, and support staff to maintain fine dining standards
• Assist with bar service as needed, including preparing classic cocktails, wine service, and maintaining bar presentation
• Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and service teams for smooth pacing and guest satisfaction
• Handle guest requests, preferences, and concerns with discretion and care

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality required
• Bartending experience and knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Severance Lodge Club is a private club located on beautiful Lake Kezar in Lovell Maine. We have an exclusive, private, fine dining establishment which is a vital part of our social season from June through October. We are seeking the right person who would be a great fit to join our dedicated team!

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
