Seasonal Greenhouse & Garden Center Team Member

Job Overview We are looking for friendly, hardworking Seasonal Greenhouse & Garden Center Associates to join our team during the busy spring and summer season. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, helping customers, and caring for plants in a fast-paced retail environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide expert advice on plants, gardening tools, and outdoor products. Assist with plant care including watering, pruning, and pest management to keep displays healthy and attractive. Support merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring products are well-organized. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the greenhouse and outdoor areas to promote safety and visual appeal. Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems while handling cash and credit payments securely. Support seasonal planting projects for customer orders. Unload deliveries and move inventory throughout the garden center Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about horticulture techniques, plant care, and product availability. Requirements Passion for gardening, horticulture, or outdoor environments with a willingness to learn new skills. Basic knowledge of plants and gardening. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are an advantage for serving diverse customers. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting plants or supplies. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and greenhouse temperatures. Organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and maintain cleanliness standards. Experience with retail sales processes including cashiering, cash handling, and retail math calculations preferred. Some weekend availability required. Friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming shopping experience. This role is ideal for energetic individuals eager to grow their knowledge in gardening. Pay:

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
