Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Seasonal Guest Ranch Assistant to support our onsite Property Manager at a private guest ranch just outside of Ouray. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work, and can roll with whatever the day brings. If you love the mountains, prefer being outside over sitting behind a desk, and take satisfaction in keeping a property running beautifully behind the scenes, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Be Doing:
This role is dynamic and changes day to day. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Property maintenance and general upkeep Landscaping and grounds work Light cleaning and property resets Assisting with water systems and basic operations Supporting guest readiness and overall property presentation Following direction from the Property Manager and stepping in where needed Occasional guest interaction and customer service support General manual labor tasks across the propertyWhat We're Looking For:
Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team Positive attitude and willingness to jump into a variety of tasks Someone who notices the details and takes pride in a job well done Prior experience with tools or equipment is a plus, but not required Must provide your own reliable transportation (property access requires it)Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Comfortable climbing ladders, navigating steep terrain, and working on uneven ground Able to bend, reach, and be on your feet for extended periods Willing to work outdoors in all types of mountain weather, including sun, rain, wind, and occasional snowSchedule:
This is a seasonal position with a flexible but demanding schedule. Some evenings and weekends are required , especially during peak periods.Compensation:
$18- 25 per hour, depending on experience

This role is not a good fit for someone looking for a slow-paced or strictly structured workday. The environment can be physically demanding, fast-moving, and requires someone who is comfortable adapting to changing priorities.
