In this energetic role, you'll ensure a fun, safe environment for all guests by actively monitoring the pool area, enforcing safety rules, and providing exceptional guest services. Duties Vigilantly monitor the pool area to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies using established safety protocols. Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring prompt and effective care. Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and maintaining water quality to ensure optimal swimming conditions. Assist guests with pool access, answer questions about facilities, and deliver friendly guest services to enhance their visit. Perform regular pool cleaning duties including brushing tiles, emptying skimmer baskets, and maintaining surrounding areas for cleanliness and safety. Support pool maintenance staff with minor repairs or equipment checks as needed to uphold facility standards. Skills Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in CPR and first aid. Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues confidently. Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment upkeep. Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling equipment or supplies related to pool cleaning and maintenance. Attention to detail in monitoring safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness standards. Physical stamina to stand, walk, or perform rescue operations for extended periods during busy hours.
