The Role:
Meadow Brook School seeks qualified candidates for a Second Grade Teacher position. Massachusetts Early Childhood (preferred) or Elementary licensure and SEI endorsement are required. Successful candidates must: establish and maintain a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment with standards of student behavior that promote positive social and academic experiences plan and deliver dynamic and creative lessons that reflect the diverse educational, cultural and linguistic backgrounds of students and that are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and the principles of Universal Design for Learning have experience teaching and supporting early childhood students with varied and sometimes complex needs ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications, as needed, to the general education curriculum for students based upon a variety of instructional techniques, approaches and technologies, in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) collaborate with a wide range of colleagues establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians/caregivers be passionate about teaching and learning and love working with children
