Jul 13, 2026 Job Description Bay High School has an opening for a Secondary Mathematics Teacher and Assistant Boys Basketball Coach. We are looking for a candidate who wants to win in the classroom and on the court. The Position This role offers the chance to teach a variety of math courses supported by a top-tier math department. You'll have the flexibility to work across a couple of grade levels with the full backing of a team that prioritizes collaboration. On the court, you will help lead our Boys Basketball program in a community that deeply values its athletic traditions. Key Responsibilities

Classroom:

Lead engaging math sections with the support and shared resources of a highly collaborative 7-12 math team.

Athletics:

Assist the Head Coach in all facets of the Boys Basketball program (practices, scouting, and game-day management).

Leadership:

Serve as a mentor and positive role model for student-athletes. Qualifications

Teaching License:

Arkansas Teaching License in Mathematics (7-12) is strongly preferred.
