Overview We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our dynamic team for 3rd Shift. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operating CNC machines and other precision equipment. This role is essential for producing high-quality components that meet strict specifications, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, including programming and adjusting parameters as needed. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accurate dimensions. Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to produce parts according to specifications. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes and product designs. Conduct quality control checks on finished products, ensuring they meet industry standards. Troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions to maintain production flow. Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively in the machining process. Experience Proven experience as a Machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC operations. Familiarity with programming languages for CNC machines, particularly Fanuc and Mazatrol. Experience with plastics injection molding is a plus. Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for designing parts. Ability to work with various precision measuring instruments and hand tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
