  • _•Please note: In fall 2026, the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute is relocating inpatient services in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill.
Our team is working closely with the Holy Spirit Medical Center Behavioral Health team and the Penn State Health Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health to ensure a smooth and coordinated transition_

  • SUMMARY OF POSITION
  • The Front Desk Secretary coordinates and facilitates the flow of patient information from admission to discharge.
Areas of responsibility include reception, information processing, and the management of the medical record. The Secretary must present a positive, proactive professional image as the first point of customer contact in the program, recognizing the importance of interpersonal skills in delivery of service to internal and external customers.
