Security Guard / Site Safety Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking a dependable and professional Security Guard to help maintain a safe, secure, and orderly environment at a busy commercial property. This position requires strong observational skills, confidence in handling difficult situations, and the ability to maintain a calm and professional presence during high-traffic hours. The ideal candidate is alert, reliable, and comfortable enforcing property policies while providing excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and patrol the property to ensure safety and security Control access to the building and verify authorized entry Maintain order in common areas and address disturbances professionally De-escalate conflicts and respond appropriately to incidents Enforce property rules and report violations when necessary Observe and document unusual activity or security concerns Coordinate with management and emergency services when required Assist with crowd flow and maintain a visible security presence during peak hours

Qualifications:

Previous security, hospitality, nightlife, event security, or law enforcement experience preferred Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills Ability to remain calm under pressure Professional appearance and demeanor Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required Security license/certification preferred (if applicable)

Schedule:

Evening and late Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8:00PM to 6:00

AM Part-Time Pay:

$25.00

This role is best suited for individuals who are confident, observant, and capable of maintaining a strong professional presence in a fast-paced environment.
