Security Officer

Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to guard clients premises, personnel, and assets. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through controlling access to the site, vigilant surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. Responsibilities Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Conduct patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security of all areas as required. Manage access control by verifying identities and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations requiring CPR or first aid. Enforce security policies and conflict management procedures to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary to address incidents or investigations. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting purposes. Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV technology and electronic access control is a plus. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Familiarity with security protocols, law enforcement procedures, and emergency response plans.
