Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Newell, WV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, unusual conditions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or irregular conditions. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and help support site access control procedures for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors. Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed to relay incident details, request assistance, and help support an organized response to changing conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
