Day Time Thur 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 05:45 PM - 06:00AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public sector personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and restricted areas, verify credentials, control movement of people and/or vehicles, and report unusual behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations. Support order at the location by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related procedures during routine operations and emergency events.Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. Possess an armed guard card or license. Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
