Security - Officer

The Role The Security Officer serves as a safeguard to team members and guests at the DraftKings at Casino Queen. The Officer is to be responsive to the needs of the guests and team members in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

Always remain alert for burglaries, prowlers, vandalism, trespassers, removal of casino property without proper authorization, and any additional suspicious activity. Assist in transporting money and chips. Observe, report and take action as directed by the supervisor or above with respect to all suspicious, unusual situations. Respond to and assist in all emergencies, including but not limited to fires, medical emergencies, and criminal activity. Answer all calls promptly and professionally. Respond to all disturbances in order to deescalate the incident. Must make sound judgment when interacting with Team members and guests. Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same. Investigate and prepare written reports on incidents/medicals that occur during the shift in a timely manner. Document all incidents and property damage as directed. Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive work atmosphere. Assist other Security Officers as needed. Maintain a high level of personal integrity.
