PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or community members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public school location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate with school personnel and first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, athletic spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, help verify authorized entry, and document observations, incidents, and/or policy-related issues according to post orders and location procedures. Support daily school operations by providing directions, assisting during arrival and dismissal periods, and helping maintain an orderly environment through visible presence and courteous interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
